There were a few twists and turns that I honestly didn’t see coming and have to give praise to the author’s ability to throw some curve balls throughout the story’s progression. The couple’s relationship solidifies, and it brings out new depths and dimensions in both character’s development. I said it before and I’ll say it again, Lachlan Mount is what makes this story FANTASTIC, although I even ended up liking Keira this time around. Everything from Lachlan’s dismal childhood, his rise to power, and even how he got his name is revealed. ”The Mount Trilogy” ends spectacularly with the final installment, ”SINFUL EMPIRE”. I went into Wonder Woman: Warbringer not knowing too much about the plot other than teenage Diana having to team up with a mortal girl, Alia. Not only are these authors all-stars in the YA world, but they’re among my all-time favorite authors! Maas’s Catwoman: Soul stealer , and of course, Leigh Bardugo’s Wonder Woman: Warbringer. I’ve been looking forward to the DC Icons series throughout 2017 and my anticipation will extend to 2018, with Marie Lu’s Batman: Nightwalker and Sarah J.
